Hayley is the owner of Rock Vox Academy. She has always had a passion for singing and does today. Her singing journey when she was 4 years old and fondly remembered dressing up in her mums old coats singing into a hairbrush.
She began singing lessons age 10 and always took part in the local choirs and chamber choirs. It wasn't until This gave her the confidence to perform solos, duets and quartets. She was passionate about and embraced many styles of music, from folk to opera to rock pop to musicals. She had vocal tuition from three very different singing teachers which helped her become the singer that she is today.
She then went on to study Popular Music and Recording at Clarendon College in Nottingham and achieved a BTEC qualification. This had given her experience working in many different styles of bands and performed regularly around Nottingham, Grantham and a tour around Germany. After college, she got an unconditional offer to study a BA in Popular Music and Recording at the Salford University of Manchester. During this time, she would regularly gig in several venues across Manchester.
She came back from Manchester and began to teach singing three days a week in two local schools (formerly Central Technology College) now known as Priory Ruskin and at Belvoir High School. She also taught privately at this time too and had one of her students go on to MADD.
Then, in March 2016, Hayley opened Rock Vox Academy Studios. She also gigs locally her original indie band, Free 2 Decide.
